  1. Thanks for the pattern…my son will be thrilled! Question…the pattern says that there should be 24 st. at the end of round 2, including the ch. 2, but since you start with 13 stitches at the end of round 1, how do you end up with 24? I’m getting 26 every time!

    • Sorry for the confusion! I would dc 11 into the first round (12 dc + ch2) and go from there – that should give you 24 at the end of round 2. I might have an outdated version of the pattern posted – will have to check on that. 🙂 Thanks for the catch and good luck!

      • Thanks so much! I made it work by not dc in the same stitch after ch. 2 at the beginning of the round, instead dc in the next stitch and continuing as the pattern states. I’m really excited to get this done and see it on my 2-year-old! 😀
